Oratorio Singers of Charlotte

Founded in 1951, the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte is the official chorus of the Charlotte Symphony. Composed of more than 130 volunteer singers, many of who hold graduate degrees in music, the chorus performs with the Charlotte Symphony several times a year. The 2012-2013 season's main choral repertoire includes Beethoven Symphony No. 9, Mozart C Minor Mass, and Handel Messiah.

Auditions

Membership in the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte is by audition only. Auditions are held twice a year at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Auditions must be scheduled in advance. We will not be able to accept walk-in auditions. Email oratorio@charlottesymphony.org to be contacted about scheduling an audition or visit www.oratoriosingers.org to learn more about the audition process and requirements.
